15 February 2012 – From April to December 2011, Troopy got its back seat removed, its front seats replaced, overhead console, central console in the cabin, and in the back, a dual drawer system plus overhead storage.
It also got a new suspension kit, a lift kit, a new bull-bar with a winch, a diff-lock system (rear only), a second fuel tank (150L) and a water tank (60L).
9 February 2012 – To go through countries with your own car, you need a “Carnet de Passage en Douane” which is kinda like a passport for the car. So, first step is to get the form from the AAA (Australian Automobile Association), get a membership from the RACV (Royal Autombile Club of Victoria) or any other Automobile Club, then calculate…and then it gets complicated. But, with some help and a bit of twisting the truth, I got there 🙂

The house is in this little suburb I had never heard of, St Albans, mind you I never used to come this side of Melbourne anyways. Sort of quiet suburban area, a big Chinese community run pretty much all the shops. Your average Melbourne suburb, really.
