19 January 2012 – Another injection today, the first of three injections for rabies. Next week, the second one, along with a second injection for hepatitis (I think) then a third for rabies in 28 days, plus a bloodtest in Darwin in three months.
I can’t feel my arm, and I have a headache. This is fun…
18 January 2012 – So, today I went to the doctor, well the “Travel Doctor” as the facility is called. A quick but detailed interview with a doctor and we went through a list of all required vaccines… Turns out I need about all of them 🙂
Read More14 January 2012 – On January 17th 2012 I will have spent eight hundred and twenty-two days in New Caledonia. Well not really since I went back twice to Melbourne and once to Belgium… So about two years, give or take.
It’s been … an experience, to say the least. I worked as freelance for the first time, I learned to sail, sort of, well I can steer. Oh okay I can’t really sail, I can hold my course anyways. So, I sailed, I fished, I dived, I discovered the largest lagoon on the planet, but most of all I met a great bunch of friends. Some of which will remain friends for life.
