Well that sucks
20 January 2016
Three weeks ago, we went camping. I remember using my camera, shooting at a family of wallabies near our tent. I also remember using the pair of binoculars I got for my birthday from the folks back in Belgium (remember Laos ?), I think Claire even has a picture of me using them.
And then I don’t remember seeing these since. Was it while we stopped for a swim at Mandurah ? Or in Rockingham for an ice-cream ? Were the windows not up all the way ? Was a door not locked ? I don’t remember.
Yesterday, we moved in to the countryside, awesome location by the way, fresh fruits from the garden, green veggies, horses, fresh air, well when it’s not stinking hot, we’re great here. So anyways, I wanted to take some pictures last night, and that’s when I realised my camera bag was missing.
Last time I saw it was three weeks ago. We moved so we packed, and I didn’t see it anywhere. Nor did Claire. I know it WAS in the car so I searched the car. Nope, nothing. It’s gone.
Along with four lenses, two SD cards, some power cords for other stuff, and a small point-and-shoot camera I bought years ago. And the pair of binoculars I got last November. A total of over 2500AUD, easy. Gone.
Well it’s probably my fault for not double-checking the car I suppose, but still, I’m gutted.
