Breakfast with sunrise, how cool is that ? Just in time before the first rain too. Just perfect. Through the park, dozens of red kangaroos, they’re so little used to seeing humans here they hardly bother when I get close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
It’s a very plain and boring drive to Broome. There is nothing in between, not even a roadhouse or anything. 80 Mile Beach is the only “sightseeing” along the 500km and it’s infested with crocs and mozzies. Road trains, 4wd, caravans, that’s all I pass. It’s Easter WE so everyone is off for the long WE. And today is Good Friday so all shops are closed when I do reach Broome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I try a first campsite out bush but the sign says “estuarine crocodile inhabit this area, DO NOT swim or go near the water line”. Mmmh, it’s close to 40degrees, and I can’t swim… Might as well go back in town and go to a caravan park, at least they have a pool. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tomorrow : clean up interior of the car, buy a new pair of pants, these ones are ruined, and buy the next two parts of the trilogy I’m reading, I can’t put it down (The Conqueror Series, by Conn Iggulden)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
