First attempt to cross the river, failed miserably. Rule of thumb: ALWAYS check the depth… I didn’t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While Celine and Audrey managed to hitch a ride with the only car for hours, Nico went to get a tow, and I remained with the car. 4PM, there was two hours of daylight at most. My clothes were wet and the wind was biting. To avoid pneumonia, I stripped naked, leaving my wet clothes to dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
There I was, alone in the middle of nowhere, naked, without water, food, fire or any means of communication. Waiting for a hypothetical car that may or may not find me in this maze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We got the car out of the water but should the engine not have started, I would have had to abandon it as the mountain was too steep to tow me up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
